This walk, led by Robert Trawick will be a fun and comprehensive course on speed light photography- while walking down Historic Handley.
We will jump right in to the use of speed light on camera and off camera. We will play with modifiers so you can get a firsthand experience on how they work and what they can do for your images. We will work with some fun modifiers like Multi-Flectors, Snoots, Gels, Honeycomb Grids, and the Speedbox 60.
This Photo Walk is for all levels and skill set. This event will be Fun and Free!

Robert Trawick is experienced in all aspects of the craft, from large format cameras to 70 mm motion picture film processing. There is a lot of information in his head just waiting to bubble out, and once its flowing, stand back ’cause something is going to power your light bulb! His experience as a USAF Photojournalist coupled with extensive worldwide travels and interactions with diverse cultures provide Robert with unique abilities to reach and teach anyone at any level. Specializing in weddings, bridal fashion and commercial advertising, Robert constantly strives to balance light, shadow, focus and color into images that magically transports the viewer to the emotion of the moment. Robert is also the co-host for FotoFacts Podcast, a casual iTunes audio show highlighting photo education, industry leaders, and charities.
Photos On The Vine is a local photography studio which also rents studio space and holds various types of photography classes from beginner classes to studio lighting. This Photo Walk is a BYOB event. Attendees have the option to bring their own bottle of wine and appetizers to enjoy before the Photo Walk. A Perfect Blend of Creativity, Conversation and Learning.
