Shoot to Edit

This will be a fun photography workshop to work on both your photography and photoshop skills!
We will start off with a short photo walk/ photo shoot around our studio’s location.
The Photo Shoot will demonstrate
- Quality of Light- Using flash and reflectors outdoors.
- All attendees will have an opportunity to take photographs using our professional lighting equipment during this mini photo shoot. If you do not have a flash, a reflector will be provided.
- Posing and how to see unique, creative angles
Then we will take our images inside and set up our computers for a basic Photoshop class.
The PhotoShop portion of the class will include:
- How to download and store your images on your computer (File Organization 101!)
- How to process your images and get organized (Lightroom will be used, but not a requirement!)
- Basic editing in PhotoShop will be covered such as:
- Sharpening
- Image Adjustment- color balance and exposure adjustment
- Cropping
- Basic Retouching to retouch minor details in the photograph (facial and scene)
This will be a fun workshop to combine creativity in your camera and creativity in post production in your computer. This workshop is designed to be a small class event, making it easy to ask questions and connect with others, so register today to reserve your spot!
