In this specialized PhotoShop class, students will learn specific methods for retouching their digital images using PhotoShop.
It would be useful to have a basic knowledge of PhotoShop, but the tools and methods used are very basic and easy to understand for all editing levels of experience.
This class will cover Retouching Tools such as
- Spot Healing Brush
- Clone Stamp
- Patch Tool
- Basic Copy and Paste Features using Layers
Learn how to
- Remove acne from your subjects face.
- How to easily remove fine lines, and how to properly soften wrinkles for over 50 plus.
- How to brighten eyes and teeth
- How to remove objects from your photos
- How to add objects to your photos
- How to “swap” heads so to speak, to create that perfect family photo of all eyes and smiles towards the camera.
This will be a very focused class, dealing with the beautiful art of Retouching to make your photographs the very best they can be.
What to bring:
- Your laptop loaded with Photoshop. If you are paying the monthly subscription fee to Adobe cloud, Adobe Photoshop is *$10 a month.
- Patrice will provide the images for all students to work on together. You will be encouraged to bring in some files that we will work on together towards the end of class.
If you have a different version of PhotoShop, or another photo editing software, I welcome you to join this class. Though some of the features of Photoshop may not be the same, you will be able to follow along to learn the basic tools of editing photographs.
This will be a hands on class and we will be working individually and together to learn how to Retouch in PhotoShop. This class size is limited to 7 attendees, so there is plenty of opportunity for one on one assistance.
